Why Your Uniqueness Is Your Most Valuable Asset

Diversity is the only true thing we all have in common. It's something to celebrate!

Though we have certain traits and characteristics that we share, we’re also very different from one another. Everyone of us is unique, a one-of-a-kind, limited edition, the ultimate luxury package!

Even science says so (come on, how many finger prints were created already?).

No other living (or dead) human being has (or had) your combination of appearance, talents, abilities and idiosyncrasies.

And I really believe that this uniqueness doesn’t happen by accident. This is where your value lies.

Whether you believe in God or not, there is a purpose to our existence.

If you search for the definition of uniqueness you find things like:

"having no like or equal; unparalleled; incomparable";

"the embodiment of unique characteristics;

"the only specimen of a given kind";

So, if you're like no one else in the world, then you must have some quality that makes you different from all the rest.

It's expressed in your personality, your talents or in the way you do things.

Your purpose is to find your unique way of doing magic and your mission to share it with the world. (Click to Tweet)

It's because we are unique and incomparable that we all can contribute to this world in a way no other person can.

This uniqueness is our gift to the world. And the reason comparing yourself with others makes no sense at all!

That said even our life paths are unique.

You can choose to fully express yourself and allow your real power to come forth in a way that others can benefit for it (and in the meanwhile, create a more fulfilling and happy life for yourself!). Or you can spend time and energy trying (and failing!) to be someone else, living a life that is not yours to live, denying others the good that your magic could bring.

You have to at least try to live up to our full potential; you owe it to yourself and others.

You were meant to be different.

Because one can speak your words. No one can comfort the way you do. No one can touch hearts in the same way that you can. No one else can impact others in your specific manner. No one can package or deliver just like you. No one has your special mix of ingredients that can season life in the most unique way.

Isn't this concept so freeing? Not having to pretend in order to look more like someone else because you weren’t meant to be like someone else? What's your thought on this?
